A Drop of Golden Honey

Falling in the morning sun

A drop of golden honey

Rays reflected and sparkled

A day begins in sweet reverie

For honey knows what honey is:

I tumble slowly, no rush to be

The product of intention

From a solitary queen

Sunlights tumbles from the window

Twisting from the spoon of sleep

In a gentle bath of rays, I’m cleansed

In unspoilt joy persisting infinitely

The gift of life and will to choose

Languidly I stretch to meet

Through viscous nectar of gods

I am grounded in purpose and gravity
