A flower among flowers

The promise of a seed

Beauty in all, all in time

 

Rains give life to violets and lilies

Sage and susans rise with sun

Primroses open to the moon

 

I was once frosted before my time

But for the next year, next season

I am like the pink globes

 

Who find their beauty only after

A wild fire singes their world

Buds erupt, spilling color

 

A new beginning, hope in devastation

Mother nature has her reasons

And I answer to her call

 

To find delicate harmony

And balance in the breeze
