Every body is of Earth
But every soul is celestial
In my orbit, meteors rain
And death becomes a wish or dream
A beautifully broken exploding star
That's how I feel sometimes.
Like white hot contradiction
floating in space
waiting for some bit of gravity
to pull me past Earth.
To get a new perspective
of this world - of my life.
And still, I am a northern star
Holding place in space
And lighting your way home.
To shine bright, it’s your birthright
